If you have chosen "Manager Approval Required" in your Registration Settings, three things happen:
- Your new "member" receives a confirmation email immediately
- You receive an advisory email immediately
- The "member" may complete their profile but may not use any of the Members Only feature of your web site until you approve them.
Details:
1) The new "member" (of your web site) receives a confirmation email advising them that their web site registration is pending manager approval. You control the specific contents of this email by completing the form at Basic Settings | Contact Manager | System Email Content |Pending:
When you click on
Pending: we have populated a boiler-plate sample of a message. You should review this message and modify to suit your organization.
This email is sent out immediately and also contains the member-volunteered contact details.
2) You receive an advisory email that a new consumer has registered on your web site and that "before John Doe can enjoy the Members Only features of your web site.... you need to log in to TennisConnect and either approve or decline John Doe's application"....
3) You need to log in to www.TennisConnect.org and choose Basic Settings | Contact Manager | Option # 2- Member Approval:
Review and approve or decline pending web site members:
Upon Approval, if you elect to send a system generated email, the content of that email will come from your content in (Approved, Rejected, etc.... )
You should log in to TennisConnect to review and confirm your system generated email settings.
