Email sent using Group Email may be marked as Private (do not show on web site), or Public (default) which will appear in the system generated Email History page of your web site.

To remove the Email History link
on your web site (not recommended - here's why), please see this article: Turn On / Off.

To delete individual emails
from your email history, please go to:
Basic Settings | Group Email | Option #2 - Email History and delete any email you wish.



Turning off Email History
Email History was created as a time saver and a customer service tool for you.  The original request arose from a conversation between a tennis director and one of their players asking him to "re-send" a recent email about a league schedule.  With the best of intentions to re-send the email once he was off the tennis court, he forgot, and ultimately it was a negative customer service experience.

So we came up with the idea that we would automatically turn a group email into a web page and automatically list it on the web site.  Now our tennis director can pre-empt the issue by directing the player to their web site instead of committing to a task that might be overlooked.

We discovered a side benefit after the fact: web pages are crawled by search engines and the addition of email history as a web page provided better Search Engine Results Placement.
