You can edit single instances of events on your calendar, or edit "all future dated instances" of a recurring event.
NOTE: Do NOT try to "re-use" historical events for the future by simply changing their date. Clone an old event and make your changes to the clone.
To edit a single instance, simply open the event from Calendar | Monthly View (go to the month) and click on the event, then choose Edit Event. Make your changes, and click "Save".
IF you are editing a recurring event, you will see this option:
- The first radio button will edit only this event
- Choosing the second radio button will cause TennisConnect to update all future dated events (from the date of the event selected).
For example, if you have a time change or an instructor change in the third week of a program, you would go to the event on week 3 and choose Edit Event and edit "All future dated events for this program". Make your change and save your changes. Weeks 3,4,5,6,7 and 8 will now contain the *new* information
TIP - prevent enrollment "mid" course: This is also how you prevent enrollment "mid course".
Example: If you have an eight week program running on Mondays and Thursdays:
- Create the event as a recurring event and make it enrollable
- Edit the second day of the event (presumable the Thursday) and choose edit "All future dated events for this program"
- Change the event Category to an informational Category (enrollment turned off)
- Change the Special Notice area to say something like: "This program is in process, call Bill at 123-123-1234 for current openings"
